- Officer from the Special Victims Unit is assigned as the primary contact for the victim-survivor throughout the investigation

- Administers The Policy Against Discrimination, Harassment, and Related Interpersonal Violence
- Manages investigations where the Respondent is an employee
- Liaises with appropriate offices regarding implementation of supportive measures and referrals
Additional Reporting
Bear in mind that Employees who are Campus Security Authorities (CSAs) also have a duty to report crimes to the UConn Police Department in addition to notifying OICR.
CSA's include but are not limited to University Employees who have significant responsibility for student and campus activities, including student housing, student discipline, campus judicial proceedings, staff advisors of clubs or organizations, and athletic coaches.

What happens next?
OICR and/or other appropriate University offices will assist the student with any immediate concerns, such as safety, housing, or classroom arrangements, connect the student to support resources, and determine the appropriate investigatory action in response to the report.
