Kimberly joined the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) as a Title IX Support Specialist in May of 2015 and transitioned to a Title IX Compliance Specialist in July of 2016. Kimberly assists with collecting and analyzing data from reports of sex discrimination, sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, and intimate partner violence.  Kimberly examines information about Title IX trends and issues and develops new initiatives based on these issues. In addition, Kimberly helps with the development and facilitation of various UConn education, awareness, and prevention programs and campaigns.

Prior to joining the OIE, Kimberly worked for three years at Post University.  Her higher education experience includes work in Residential Life, Admissions, and the University’s Counseling Center. She also assisted in developing and maintaining Post University’s Sexual Misconduct and Title IX policies. Kimberly supervised several student organizations and Resident Assistants. In addition to Title IX, Kimberly’s research and professional interests include organizational culture in higher education, student development, and mentorship opportunities.

Kimberly earned both a Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) in Biology degree and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from Post University, where she was involved as a student in Residence Life, Athletics, Student Government, and Student Activities. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) at Northeastern University with a concentration in Organizational Leadership. Her research in the program concentrates on Title IX compliance efforts at higher education institutions.
