Jasmine joined the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) as a Graduate Assistant in August 2019. Jasmine’s role within the office includes assisting staff in case management activities such as fielding reports and inquires; preparing educational and informational materials and participating in educational presentations to students and employees regarding discrimination, harassment and related interpersonal violence; and assisting in reviewing and analyzing case data for tracking and trending purposes.

Jasmine earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Mary’s College of California in May 2019. She is currently a first-year Master’s student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs program at the University of Connecticut. Her field of interest involves the experiences of first-generation and transfer students at minority serving institutions.
