Cameron Liston

Title IX Coordinator


Cameron Liston became the University of Connecticut’s Title IX Coordinator in April 2023.  In this role, Cameron coordinates the university system’s response, prevention, and education initiatives pursuant to federal Title IX law and related federal, state, and local laws, statutes, and regulations. He is primarily focused on compliance for UConn’s system-wide Title IX Program and student-involved Title IX matters.

Prior to becoming the Title IX Coordinator, Cameron worked as the Associate Director of Investigations in UConn’s Office of Institutional Equity and previously as the Assistant Director of the Office of University Rights and Responsibilities at Arizona State University.  In these roles, Cameron investigated allegations of discrimination and harassment related to university employees.  He handled a large volume of reports from intake to completion. Additionally, he developed and implemented office procedures to ensure compliance with institutional policies as well as relevant laws and regulations. Cameron is admitted to practice law before Arizona’s state courts.

Cameron earned his law degree from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where he was an Executive Editor on Jurimetrics, The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Linguistics from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.  While at Arizona State University, Cameron was a member of the Cross County and Track and Field teams, earning First Team Pac-12 Conference All Academic honors.
